We finished part two of our Pfizer vaccine campaign here at BHP, yesterday, April 2nd. It was a great success with nearly 500 people receiving their second dose of the vaccine. Once again, I would like to thank all of the volunteers that made this event possible. You all are amazing and represent what is truly great about this community. You gave up your time to help, not just for a few hours but many of you worked all day (twice!) to help others. Not only did you give your time freely to this community, but also to other communities around BHP. I heard numerous complements expressed by people that have never been here before; some even said that they were seriously thinking of moving here when their rental time was up elsewhere. They saw so many cheerful volunteers and this amazed and gratified them. The residents of BHP should be very proud of these volunteers. This is the type of community that I am proud to live in. I would also like to thank SUN and Renee for all of the support that they gave in making this happen. These two events could not have happened without their support. Thanks also to Todd Drew at the pro shop for making the parking lot available to people. Volunteers, if I failed to add your name or I didn’t spell it correctly, I am so very sorry. Let me know so that I can correct it as I want the people here to know just how great their neighbors are. Also, for those that offered to help thank you so much. You are also appreciated.
In-side Volunteers: Ann Marie Kulling, Pat Peterson, Bonnie Adriansen, Cheryl Bulloss, Ellie Welcome, Jae-Ann Carder, Steve Davis, Chris Ferranti, and Bev Clark.
You all kept everything flowing in the clubhouse smoothly. What a mess it would have been without you.
Out-Side: Tom Lemke, Keith Dobbs, David Snyder, Larry Niemann, Tom Neill, Harry Bulloss, Jerry Kulling, Joe Clark, Mark Wesaw, Jim Karns, Pat Karns, Nancy Semonis, Dan Tillet, Ken Klein, Ken Granado, Barry Opfer, Tommy Goodreds, Cathy Richardson, Jim Ortiz, and Carl Festa.
You all managed the parking and shuttling, moving hundreds of bodies without any injuries and the people loved your attitudes. You also helped many into and out of vehicles that couldn’t have done it on their own.
Over-All: Diane Baldwin (My Wife) Thank you for letting me do this and helping at every turn. Your giving means the world to me. Yet another reason that I love you so much.
