Winter Wonderland Parade and Tree Lighting
Our annual Winter Wonderland will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, 5:30pm at the Community Center Parking lot. The event this year is sponsored by the HOA and Sun Communities.
It is that time of year to deck out your golf cart and join in our traditional holiday parade. This year we will go up and down almost every street in the community. Carts should start to line up at 5:30 pm at the mail kiosk. We are asking that all cars be removed from the parking lot by 4:30 pm to allow us to set up for the festivities.
Once the parade returns to the parking lot, we will proceed with our tree lighting, the voting for best decorated home and best cart. All to take place in the community center. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. Each community member will be allowed one vote each for their favorite house. Please make sure to have the house number to vote.
Also, each community member will be allowed one vote for their favorite cart. Each cart is assigned a number and you will need that number to vote.
Sun Communities is providing free hot dogs.
The HOA will provide hot chocolate and water.
We are asking for donations of cookies to serve that evening also. If you would like to provide cookies, please drop them off in the community center around 5pm.
There will be a signup sheet on the bulletin board for golf cart parade and donations of cookies.
