Planning Committee Meeting

There will be a planning committee meeting for a Labor Day event on Wednesday, July 21 at 1 pm at clubhouse.

All are welcome. Volunteers are needed.

There have been unauthorized persons roaming our streets and using our facilities. Last night I was able to film this. The sheriff office was also called and they responded. However, the children were able to flee to their home outside of the park prior to the sheriff arriving. I was notified that there is nothing that can be done if the officer does not catch them in the act. Apparently even video isn’t sufficient to warrant a citation. After discussion with the sheriff office here are the procedures to be followed in the future:

If you spot person(s) that are not residents, guest here, then notify the Non-Emergency number at the sheriff office (941-639-0013).
Do not confront them. Let them continue to believe they are getting away with something.
When sheriff officer arrives, point them out and follow the officer’s directions.

This will minimize any possible confrontations as has happened in the past. We need to do this smartly and effectively. After you have called the sheriff office you may call me (856-430-4792). This is also a way to ensure that our golf carts and other property are not stolen or vandalized.
