Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt on April 1, 2021. Solve clues and hunt to find Easter Eggs with prizes. Meet at back deck of clubhouse at 4:30. Two people to a cart. Bring an Easter basket or tote to house your eggs. You will need a pen or pencil. No cell phones allowed. All carts need to return to back deck by 6:00.

Sign up sheet will be available on bulletin board at clubhouse. We are in need of volunteers to pass out clues from your driveway. Sign up sheet for Volunteers will also be on bulletin board in clubhouse. Sign up for either one by March 24, 2021.

Charlotte Country will be administering Covid-19 Vaccines at Blue Heron Pines on the 12th of March from 8:30 – 4:30. These vaccines are for people 65 years and older that are RESIDENTS of Blue Heron Pines only. You do not need to be a resident of Florida. There are 500 shots available. These vaccines are the Pfizer 2-part series. Registration for the vaccines will be taken at the BHP Clubhouse on Sunday March 7 from 1:30 to 4:30, Monday March 8, 9:00- 4:00, and Tuesday March 9 from 9:00 – 4:00. Please bring a picture ID with DOB and proof of residency (i.e. letter, utility bill, etc.) to the registration. You will be filling out and signing a consent form when you register. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your vaccine appointment on March 12. If you are late you will have to go to the back of the line. Second shot appointments will be given on the 12th with your vaccine. If you cannot physically make the registration, please contact Walt King (856-430-4792).

There will be an Entertainment meeting, next Wednesday, March 10, 2021 on the back deck of clubhouse at 1:00 to discuss currently planned activities. All residents are invited to come to share any new ideas. Volunteers for any activity will be welcomed.

Meeting for the Easter Egg hunt activity will be held immediately after, If you would like to volunteer to help on this activity, please plan to stay.

Thursday, February 25, we are fortunate to have with us members of the Charlotte County Concert Band live. They will be playing in the pro-shop parking lot at 5:30 pm sharp. Whether they are performing patriotic songs, swing tunes, or lively dance music they are sure to wow. They will be conducted by one of our own residents! This concert is free to all, but donations for the Charlotte County High School scholarship program for budding musicians will be greatly appreciated. Come in your golf cart, bicycle, or just bring a chair. All are welcome.
