Christmas decorating at the clubhouse will take place on 11/30 at 10:00 am.

Volunteers are welcomed to stop by and help, meet some of your neighbors and get in the spirit.

Come dance the old year away, and welcome in the new year to the music of the G Men.
December 31st, 2019 at the clubhouse. 8:00pm to 12:00am.
Dessert and coffee will be served.
Champagne toast and noisemakers.
BYOB / Snacks, 50/50 raffle
Reserved seating so secure your table early
Tickets will be on sale the entire month of December, at
the mail kiosk, Tuesdays and Thursday 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Minutes of Board Meeting 11/17/19

Meeting was called to order at 1:16 PM by President Larry Roberts

A quorum was present.
Community Input:  Colin Phelps, Next meeting with SUN will be held on 11/16/2019 at 10 AM.  Andrew agrees with the agenda any additions need to be made before 10/28/2019.
Ponds are not being attended to.
New taxes at other communities went up 3%.
Jeff Pollack, We need board members and N & M to replace Colin.
Secretary’s Report, read by Ellie Welcome,  one corrections to the minutes HOA meeting on 10/1/2019. Comparative communities are Venture Lakes, not Tara Woods.  Report was accepted and 2nd.
Treasurer’s Report, read by Larry Roberts.  Combined operating and legal accounts, balance of $49,264.36.  Accepted as read and 2nd.
Membership, Jaeann Carder,  welcome bags should be given to new residents by the office at the closing.  A card should be attached stating the bags are from your HOA.  Not SUN.
Sports, Walt King,  we need volunteers to fix the horseshoe pits, get rid of weeds and build up with sand.
Golf,  Tom Pearson, Front nine is in a little bit better shape.  Back nine is no better. #9 green is gone.  Sod is needed on 15, 16 and 9.  Overseeding will be done when the weather cools off at night.
Community Services, Larry Roberts, Drains, work will begin on 10/28 and be complete by the end of November 2019.
Ponds, a boat is needed to pull the weeds from the ponds.
No one can determine who is to cut the weeds along the golf course the landscaping company or the golf course people?
Flooding in the handicap parking area will be fixed in time.
Speakers still need to be moved near the antenna.
Suzanne wants a recording of the hiss we are hearing.
only 11 security cameras were installed not 13 as agreed on, only 10 are being monitored.  Company will be out to fix them.
Dog park sprinkler has been fixed.
Status of changes to the prospectus is still on hold.
Proposed changes to Prospectus…on hold by Sun.
Question from Tom Pearson, Why aren’t we using complaint forms for issues with SUN.  Can we go back to those forms and the forms can be numbered, so issues can be tracked?  Larry Roberts said the office has complaint forms, but no one wants to ask for them.

Bingo Update

Bingo Mondays

Make sure Bingo is on you calendar each Monday.  It’s a fun time and a possible win is in your future!

Bingo Cards, Daubers and Share the Wealth go on sale from 6:15pm and sales close at 6:45pm.  Please stay within those times which allows the volunteers time to set up and be ready to sell at 6:15 and close at 6:45 for the necessary time to count the money and get ready for the Bingo winners, it may be you!.

Bingo starts calling at 7pm.
