The BHP Angel Network

“The service we render others is the rent we pay for our room on earth.” Wilfred Grenfell

The BHP Angel Network

We would like to welcome all new residents of Blue Heron Pines to our community, and to remind old and new residents of a volunteer service consisting of Blue Heron Pines neighbors and the Angel Network.

The Angel Network is a volunteer service to assist our neighbors in helping them with short term assistance. Since our inception we have responded to over 50 calls for assistance. We offer rides to doctor appointments, shopping and minor home repairs. If a need arises, please contact the office for a referrals to the Angel Network. A member of the Angel Network will meet with you and discuss your needs to determine if we can help.

Our volunteer feedback to date has been very positive. If anyone is interested in volunteering for the Angel Network, please contact Bob @ (815-307-6194) or Ann Marie @ (248-330-4831).

2019 BHP Auction

With our 13th Auction in the books, I would like to give a huge Thank You to everybody that came to our latest auction, to all those that bid and especially to those that donated all the wonderful items that made the auction possible. Thanks to the guys that picked up all the donations, hauled them to storage, then back for the auction. Thanks as well to all those who assisted with the set up on Friday. A great job by all. Thanks to those that took care of the advertising, those who worked the ring the day of the sale, those who handled the sign in and those who took care of the clerking, as well as those who handled the security. Thanks also to those who handled the coffee, the lunch and also the bake sale. In addition, I appreciate the great efforts by all those who helped make the Silent Auction a huge success.

And the work wasn’t finished when the Auction was over. A great job by everyone who assisted with the clean up post auction, as well as the crew that helped haul all unsold items away. Thanks as well to All Florida Weatherproofing for donating the rolls, plus Fort Myers Pest Control & Rainbow Pressure Washing for donating the hot dogs & buns. In summary the 2019 Auction was a great success due to the efforts of so many in our community. As a result of your efforts we are able to contribute to our HOA once again  with our final tally being $ 6434.38. I would have liked to include names of everyone that helped make this project successful, but was afraid that I would miss someone.

Thank You….
Gene Robinson – Auctioneer
