Sunday Janurary 13 5:30-8:00 PM

The evening will begin at 5:30 with chili tasting/judging followed by a chili & corn bread dinner. From 6-8 pm, we will be entertained with music by Harry Havery, the lead singer from the group “California Toe Jam”, a band from Sebring, FL. He will play acoustic guitar & sing while you eat. His performance will also include a fun, interactive game of musical bingo. You may dance if you wish.

The event is sponsored by the HOA. Tickets are $10 per person and will be on sale at the mail kiosk on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2-4 pm.

Please bring non perishable food items to the clubhouse after the first of the year to be donated to the Harry Chapin food bank of SW Florida.

If you haven’t checked the BHP Christmas Card mailbox in the library lately now is the time. Santa saw all the cards in there and thought what a waste of holiday cheer.
Really folks… Need you to check for cards as the mailbox in library is filled.

The Winter Wonderland Parade and Party went off without a weather hitch and was a super fun event. The golf carts were awesome, and the turnout was just tremendous.

Thanks to Maureen Heger, for her creative and innovative changes to this event, and to Ann Marie Kulling for stepping up and volunteering to chair the event in a time of need. They both did a terriffic job!

Other winners last night were:
Dave Egger… Best Cart and it was a beauty! His cart is the Santa Sleigh with eight tiny reindeer flying away!
Walter Tomkins Lot 636 for Best House Decorating…what a nice job! Stop by and take a look.

The biggest thank you goes out to all the residents that built carts for us to enjoy….decorated houses…and the BIGGEST THANK YOU is for all the residents that turned out for the party after the parade. It might have been one of the largest turnouts we have ever seen for a community event. Was so nice to see so many of you sharing some good food and friendship, singing carols, and watching the lighting of the tree…real holiday spirit last night for a bunch of great people. Nothing makes the volunteers feel the work was worth it as when you all turn out and enjoy what they have prepared.

One thing for sure…you folks know how to eat hot dogs…yikes!
