Elections are coming up in February, and we are always looking for new blood, new ideas, and a desire to make BHP an even better place to live, meet new friends, and stay as busy as you want to be in a variety of activities and projects.
Our residents have a broad range of backgrounds, experience and wisdom that we’ve spent a lifetime accumulating. Now’s the time to USE it. Sharing what we have to offer makes us all stronger, by allowing your experience to be put to work for everyone’s benefit.
Our Board of Directors can include as many as nine Board members. The Board members (who have a two year term) elect officers annually…President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. In addition, there are “Standing Committees” which Association members may chair, by appointment of the President, without being Board members. The committee Chairman may then appoint other committee members. These Committees are as follows:
- Clubhouse
- Entertainment
- F.M.O.
- Sports
- Membership
- Long Range Planning
- Park Services
- Negotiation & Mediation.

I point out all of this to show you there are many ways to get involved, with varying levels of responsibility and commitment, and I encourage you to do so.
